How To Sell Omega Watches For The Best Price
Omega watches are known for their durability, but wearing a watch everyday can have an affect on value. Read more to learn about how to prevent any damage.
Documentation
Retain your Omega watch box and documentation. This helps you get the highest possible price for your timepiece when it comes to resell. If these are in great condition you will achieve a higher price for your item.
Keep the Box
We strongly recommend that you keep the watch in its box to prevent your item becoming scratched, scuffed or broken. Damage will cause a considerable reduction in re-sale value.
Service Your Watch
Servicing your watch on a regular basis as well as keeping all the links and service receipts will also help you reach the best possible price.

myGemma was founded in 2012 in NYC by luxury industry veterans. We fundamentally believe that the experience of selling luxury watches should be as enjoyable as the experience of buying them. Having noticed a lack of viable, trustworthy options for selling diamonds, jewelry, luxury watches, sneakers and bags, we decided to change that.
Our service is centered on speed, convenience, customer service and strong, transparent pricing. We provide honest price quotes based on the information provided, there are never any costs involved or any high pressure sales tactics. We work with hundreds of customers around the world on a daily basis, providing professional and unparalleled customer service. This is reflected in our 1,000+ customer reviews.
We provide the option of selling online or in person, with appointments available Monday – Friday. Our modern and professional offices are centrally located in NYC, Hong Kong, Tokyo and the UK. Appointments typically last 30 minutes, here you will meet our team of experts in person for an evaluation of your pieces and a final price.
About Omega: Historic And Intricate
Omega is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer with a strong performance in the resale market. The brand boasts an extensive history of accomplishments, including:
- The first watch on the moon: Omega is NASA’s watch of choice since 1965
- The official timekeeping device of the Olympic Games since 1932
The luxury watch brand was founded in Chaux de Fonds Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt. Omega developed its 19-line (Omega caliber) movement in 1879 using ground breaking industrial techniques. This line would go on to give the company its name. Omega has developed a number of firsts including the first:
- Self-winding central tourbillon wristwatch in 1994
- Watch to use a tachymetric scale on the bezel in 1957
- Practical new mechanical watch escapement mechanism in 250 years (known as the co-axial movement)
Notable Omega wearers have included the likes of James Bond, JF Kennedy and Prince William.
